Seemingly disgruntled Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love is going to sit out the Cavs’ Sunday night game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
According to The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania, Love is sitting out the game due to it being the second of a back-to-back.
Love seemingly has become less reserved about expressing his displeasure at his tenure with the Cavaliers, who mystifyingly re-signed him to 4 year, $120 million (which I don’t blame him for taking because no other team was going to pay him that much) in the wake of Lebroncalypse, part deux after 2018 Finals. The deal does have a player option after this season, which Love will likely exercise because his level of play has significantly decreased his potential value on the open market, as he is averaging 16.4 points and 10.3 rebounds and looks a far cry from the All-Star he once was.
